Flounder House is a non-profit rescue located in the green mountains of Vermont.
After almost 30 years of working with various rescues in various capacities, we made the decision to officially open Flounders House. As much as we would love to “save them all” we know that just isn’t possible. We are a small, specialized rescue dedicated to finding the right match for both the humans and our four legged friends.
Flounders House takes our time to get an accurate read on each dog so that we can be confident is placing each dog in an appropriate environment. We do not adopt directly from transport.
Adoption fees are calculated by medical bills, transport and care. There are no added costs and we are extremely transparent on all adoption fees.
